Today as we celebrate our 67th Indian independence day, lets not forget the spirit of independence and those who happily laid their lives for our country so that we may breathe freely and not as “slave”. The true spirit of independence is to free our nation from corruption, poverty , economic inequality etc and not to forget let’s make and build India towards self sufficiency and self reliance.
India is just not “geographical expression” but is a country held together, in the words of its first prime minister, Jawaharlal Nehru, “by strong but invisible threads….
Indian’s have emerged and shaped distinctively and remarkably over centuries, from ancient Hindu, culture, impact of Islam & Christianity and two centuries of British colonial rule and what has held together is those strong invisible threads….
Let us make and build India a better place to live.
